DC100 & DC100 ‘Sport’ break cover

Today saw Land Rover unveil two concepts at the Frankfurt motor show, the DC100 and the DC100 ‘Sport’.
These two concepts gave us a glimpse at what the replacement for the current venerable Defender may look like when it is launched in 2015. Land Rover’s design director Gerry McGovern hinted in his speech that technology and design will be at the heart of the new Defender when he said “we have no desire to imitate our past” and “we will design a Defender that is relevant to the 21st century”
