Our trip to the Lakes was not totally Land Rover free, we took the Honister slate mine tour whilst we were there (well worth a look if you ever get the chance) and there were several Land Rovers in evidence, the two most striking one’s being the orange liveried Honister 110’s.

Today we collected the latest addition to the GLR fleet, a 2007 Defender 90 XS in Tonga Green. It’s not the first Defender in the fleet, in fact it’s the
