New Rear Number Plate for Freelander
Last year I got a new front number plate as the old one fell off. Since the I’ve wanted a rear GB one to match. I bought one at Billing last year and wasn’t really satisfied with the quality of it. For this reason I bought a new one from Number 1 Showplates. This evening I set about fitting it…
The plate peeled off petty easily and the I set about cleaning off the old sticky backed foam off. I used a petrol soaked rag to do this. The surface was pretty scratched underneath. I put this down to the garage I bought it from as they had to remove the private plate that was on it when they bought it.
The new plate went on pretty easily. I covered the entire plate in double sided sticky foam tape to secure it good and proper! Job done! Now I can drive on the continent without a GB sticker!
