iPod Connectivity – Green Land Rover

iPod Connectivity

Early last year I removed the factory fitted stereo so that I could fit an Alpine head unit with direct iPod connectivity. I’m not a fan of the FM transmitter type iPod connections. Now while my current set up works well enough I feel it’s not very inkeeping with the interior and doesn’t look quite right, so I’ve decided to try and find a solution that’ll work with the original stereo. The original stereo is also an Alpine unit, part number XQD000110PUY, so the hunt is on for a solution.
There seems to be a limited number of adaptors available, amongst the one’s I have found are this one here – Grom or something like this – Roverville
I’ve also considered some sort of ‘home made’ type solution by using the CD changer input. Watch this space!
