Land Rover considering new crossover

Autocar today published a story  that Land Rover is considering a “White Space” concept

The model is understood to be a new crossover below the Range Rover Evoque that design director Gerry McGovern is keen to pursue.

Auto Trader seems to think it wouldn’t be a sub Range Rover brand but instead a model to fill the gap left by Freelander 1 since the Freelander 2 has gone more upmarket.
