Land Rover Heritage Run 2009

ModChop and I took part in the LR heritage run today. It was good fun but took a lot longer that I imagined.

We got to Solihull around 9:15 and left about 10:30. Finally got out of the car at Gaydon at 12:30. We had to do a lap of the museum before they let us park up.

Some good bargains on the G4 stand if you are in the market for a waterproof, down jacket or tent. I almost bought a G4 tent but resisted. I also resisted the socket set that ModChop kept trying to persuade me to buy!!! (It was nice though). Maybe at Newark….

I came away with a roll of gaffa tape and a LR survival kit (reduced from £39 to £10).
